TechLap Vehicle
TechLapDescription:
TechLap Vehicle is used in conjunction with abrasive to form our TechLap line of products. TechLap Vehicle is an oil-based solution that blends easily with the abrasive to make the finished lapping compound. TechLap Vehicle may also be used as a lapper system flush. As a lapper flush, TechLap Vehicle will clean and suspend abrasive buildup within lapper sump, pipeing and lapper cabinet walls. Residual lapping vehicle will mix into fresh compound recharge with no adverse affect to product washability or stability.

Health & Safety
TechLap Lapping Vehicle is available at our Brighton, Michigan facility in 55-gallon drums, 330 gallon totes and 5 gallon pails.
Storage And Handling: See Safety Data Sheet Before Use. Use at room temperature. Store at temperatures between 45°- 90°F. Do not expose to extreme high temperature due to container rupture. Do not pressurize drum or reuse empty container. Follow all safety regulations on label.

Mix / application & Use
Used as a lapping compound vehicle: While mixing slowly add abrasive to vehicle up to 50% by weight. Mix for 1 hour. Sample top and bottom, test to ensure it is equal and meets specifications.
Used as a lapper system flush: Completely drain lapping compound from lapper. Remove and clean magnets. Wipe up lapping compound from bottom of sump and within the lapper cabinet. Add TechLap Lapping Vehicle directly to sump and/or cabinet, filling sump to half full. Wipe down walls and pipes within lapper cabinet. Replace magnets. Recirculate TechLap Lapping Vehicle for 30 minutes. Wipe walls of cabinet. Pump out TechLap Lapping Vehicle. Wipe out residual Vehicle from bottom of sump. Remove and clean magnets, then replace. Recharge lapper with fresh TechLap Lapping Compound. Circulate for 15 minutes before lapping.
