TechLap FT 130 Lapping Compound Flush is a specialized flushing fluid engineered to remove residual lapping compound and accumulated abrasive debris from lapping systems. The formulation is fully compatible with standard lapping compounds and system materials, ensuring effective cleaning without chemical interaction or performance degradation. When the system is recharged, the flush leaves no adverse impact on the lapping compound, preserving surface finish quality, process control, and equipment reliability.

TechLap FT 130 Lapping Compound Flush is available at our Brighton, Michigan facility in 55-gallon drums, 330 gallon totes and 5 gallon pails.

Storage And Handling:  See Safety Data Sheet Before Use.  Use at room temperature.  Store at temperatures between 45°- 90°F.  Do not expose to extreme high temperature due to container rupture.  Do not pressurize drum or reuse empty container. Follow all safety regulations on label.

Mix / application & Use

Instructions for Use: Completely pump out and remove the existing lapping compound from the system, then charge the lapping system with a sufficient volume of TechLap FT 130 Lapping Compound Flush (typically 4–6 gallons) to ensure full circulation. Clean residual lapping compound and abrasive buildup from the sump, lapper, and lapping cabinet areas as required, and circulate the flush throughout the system continuously for a minimum of two hours to ensure thorough contaminant removal. Upon completion, fully drain the system and recharge with fresh lapping compound before returning the equipment to normal operation.
