TechKote WA 2977G X2.0, is a sprayable, high gloss, black water-based coating that serves as both a Direct-to-Metal primer and as a Topcoat over primer.
TechKote WA 2977G X2.0 is not only Low VOC and fast drying with good adhesion and early water resistance, it does not contain any lead, chrome or any Hazardous Air Pollutants.

TechKote WA 2977G X2.0 is available at our Brighton, Michigan facility in 55-gallon drums, 330 and 275-gallon totes and 5 gallon pails.

Do not freeze. Store at temperature between 45-100 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not pressurize container or reuse empty container.

Mix / application & Use
Mix completely before use. Continue a slow mix while in use. TechKote WA 2977G X2.0 has a minimum film thickness of 2.5 mils (unless otherwise directed by the customer approval). TechKote WA 2977G X2.0 is an air-dry coating, however, to reduce dry time, it may be oven dried as long as part temperature does not exceed 190 degrees Fahrenheit.
May by spray applied using: Bells, HVLP, HPLV, Conventional, Airless or Air Assisted Airless spray applicators.
